A friend advised me to never bring a banana to an apple fight, and I agree. A hurled apple reaches the target faster because it’s more aerodynamic. And it’s harder, so it hurts more. The banana is a close range weapon, and its effectiveness is wholly dependent on the stage of ripeness. Unless you peel it, eat it and throw the peel on the ground as you flee the scene, it’s pretty useless.
