Peter in the Blade Shop
I have been working in the my knife workshop again. My knife smith mentor Mr. Dan Howland has been guiding me on these latest projects. Thanks Dan.
First is my ball bearing knife. You can see my progress in the pictures below.
I still have a lot more work to do on this knife before I can polish it and put it all together.
Then there are my railroad spike knives. Here are 3 knives that I am currently working on. They still need to be sanded & then heat treated.. and then polished.. and of course.. sharpened! Then they will need sheaths.. out of leather.. which I will make. I hope you like these.. next to the knives are how they looked before I forged them. More pics on the way as things move forward.
